No one ever cooks in King Ali's kingdom, because everyone knows that the king cooks the most delicious food. And King Ali uses a magic ladle to scoop up the delicacies for everyone, because he who loves, feeds. But one day, this special item mysteriously disappears, and it is feared that someone has taken it on purpose!
The king's grandson, Maxi, and his dog Spuri set off across mountains and valleys to retrieve the special ladle and save the festive dinner.
